Speaking Events
ReBahir comes from a line of Rabbinical tradition. He has chosen a path that combines all aspects of Jewish observance and beliefs preferring not to be connected with any one tradition. Instead, he sees his path as one of being trans-denominational. With this perspective, he is able to help people reach the enlightenment they seek without the political view of a particular movement.
ReBahir is available to speak on many different topics. Here is a sample of some of his most sought after talks.
Understanding Jewish traditions and HolyDays through story telling
ReBahir has been called a Maggid, a sacred teller of stories. He shares the story of a people and their relationship to the Wholly One of Being with gentle humor and poignant power. His stories feature Reb Yair, a Rabbi wandering the wild west in the mid 19th century, become sweet opportunities for sharing the traditions, holidays and mystic transport. These stories of adventure find teaching moments on the way and within the way of an ancient and tribal folk.
The Midrash of the Mateh: The Staff of Moshe Speaks
ReBahir continues a long tradition in his family of Rabbis. His sharing of Bible stories from the viewpoint of the Staff of Moshe are light and enlightening. Bible stories come alive as ReBahir presents them from a decidedly unique perspective.
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather Reb Avraham Cronbach, author of the acclaimed Stories Made From Bibles Stories, ReBahir shares the ancient wisdom made meaningful in our modern world from the viewpoint of the Staff of Moshe.
’Kabbalology:’ The Way of Kabbalah
Sounds like an oxymoron, doesn’t it?
ReBahir blends the mystical and the rational in his rational approach to Kabbalah. The mystical can touch the mind as well as the soul. The rational becomes a springboard to mystic transport. Kabbalah is not magic strings and water. Kabbalah is a path that requires mind and spirit, sometimes flowing together, sometimes one or the other sitting in the passenger seat of our Spirit Quest. Learn what Kabbalology is; the way of Kabbalah then decide where you wish to be on the path of the Spirit.
The History of the Jews
This is a topic that has filled volumes. Facts and figures abound. ReBahir shares the History of the Jews from a different perspective. Facts and figures are only incidental to the feelings for the flow of the Jewish people throughout known history. This short exposition touches tangentially the mind while resonating in the soul.
Un-Revising the History of the Muddled East
There are two crucial facts that must be faced when one looks at the situation in the Middle East in general and Israel in specific. The first is that what we hear on the news and from pundits around the planet overlooks a history that belies the assertions of the people called Palestinians. The second crucial fact is that facts on the ground require us to find a solution soon. ReBahir shares a historical understanding that will amaze and sometimes shock the audience and then, offers some promise of hope.
The Jewish Tribal Framework
ReBahir shows you how using the Jewish Tribal path as an overlay can help bring your personal spirit path into clarity, no matter how you define that path.
